“Team Wisconsin” is a team consisting of elite high school baseball
players who just completed their Junior baseball season. Team Wisconsin
will be comprised of the best baseball players that the state has to offer,
and will participate in a Midwest Classic Baseball Tournament in Kenosha,
Wisconsin during the first week of August.
This event will provide each player the opportunity to play against
other top players from other states from all around the country. It will
also provide them an excellent forum to showcase their talent in front
of scouts and college coaches from across the nation. This event will
typically draw anywhere from 30 to 60 college coaches looking to recruit
players for their baseball programs.
In order to be eligible for Team Wisconsin, a player must have done the
following:
- Attended one of the six tryouts for the Wisconsin High School Baseball
Combine.
- Participated in the Wisconsin High School Baseball Combine.
- Been selected as one of the top players at the Wisconsin High School
Baseball Combine by the ten coaches that worked at this event.
Once identified as one of the top baseball prospects in Wisconsin and
selected to Team Wisconsin, the players will be notified by Showtime Sports
with further details on this exciting event.
