Showcase ID Events
Attend Showcase ID Events to become eligible for the Midwest Fastpitch & Future Stars Showcases. At these tryout events, our staff will gather verified skill testing metrics to provide consistent and accurate information for college coaches throughout the country.
High school graduating classes of 2026-2030 are eligible to participate.
Level up your college exposure by attending Showcase ID Events
Participants will receive:
skill testing and verified metrics
Our skill testing and verified metrics data collection includes a comprehensive evaluation of position players, covering components such as 20/40 yard dash, grip strength, broad jump, exit velocity, blast motion metrics, pull down throwing velocity, catcher pop time and velocity, and infield, outfield, and catching fielding evaluation.
leaderboards and player rankings
After each event, our accessible and unbiased ranking system based on verified skill testing metrics is used to develop leaderboards. Player rankings are posted and shared with every softball program in the country, allowing players to showcase their skills and give college coaches a sortable database to find recruits.
individual player profiles
All participating players will have their skill testing results and metrics hosted on our website via Virtual Combine. Opt into Virtual Combine's annual subscription to showcase your skills, game highlights, and unlimited photos and videos on your personalized player profile page.
midwest fastpitch & future stars eligibility
Attending a Showcase ID Event is mandatory to be eligible for invitation to the Midwest Fastpitch and Future Stars Showcases. Showcase invites are based on skill testing results to offer college exposure for the most talented players in the Midwest.
